The Security Coordinator provides essential support to the Security team by ensuring compliance with company and federal security policies and procedures. This role also serves as the training administrator, assists in a variety of operational functions, and plays a critical role in company-wide communication and accurate security record-keeping.

Essential Functions:
  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal security communications across all departments, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with company and federal compliance standards.
  • Assist and support the Security team with the implementation of the applicable Security Program in accordance with all applicable DoD security policies, directives, regulations, and instructions.
  • Functions as an interface with all company personnel by receiving requests and ensuring dissemination to the team.
  • Functions as the primary training administrator, handling the dissemination and tracking of all initial and recurring training.
  • Assist the Security team with administrative security, classification management, operations security, physical security, industrial security, security incident investigations, security education/motivation, general security support, and execution.
  • Assist with maintenance and access control of secure facilities/areas to ensure protection of program information.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of security manuals, documents, and records.
  • Remain responsible for ensuring communication is complete and accurate at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Products to include Word, Excel, and Access
  • Proficiency with Adobe Products to include Acrobat and Photoshop

Education / Certifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Management or equivalent training/experience


Experience:
  • 0-2 years of experience

Security Clearance:
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
