Modeling & Simulation Engineer – GNC Team
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Clearance Required: Active Secret or Higher
Compensation: $60–$100/hour (based on experience)
Insight Global is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support aerospace Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) simulation efforts. This role involves working closely with GNC teams to ensure simulation accuracy and alignment with system performance requirements. Candidates must be proficient in C++ and comfortable working with existing codebases.
Responsibilities:
Develop and validate high-fidelity GNC simulations
Collaborate with engineering teams to meet performance specifications
Analyze flight test data and contribute to system improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in GNC modeling and simulation
Proficiency in C++ (required); experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or Python preferred
Experience with flight test programs and data analysis
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
