Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced G2X Planner and Operations Integrator to support the Southern European Task Force - Africa (SETAF-AF) G2X and other intelligence mission partners. This role provides advisory and analytical support to intelligence warfighting functions (IWfF) in coordination with U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF) efforts.
You will embed with SETAF-Africa in Vicenza, Italy, and may travel as required to support USAREUR-AF, SETAF-AF, and subordinate or partner organizations. This position demands strong analytical skills, operational understanding, and the ability to synchronize CI/HUMINT operations across a dynamic, multinational environment.
Job Responsibilities:
● Provide CI/HUMINT planning support, including operational debriefings and mission integration.
● Develop and coordinate G2X support to operations, exercises, and Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) events.
● Deliver professional advice and recommendations on CI/HUMINT support to Research and Technology Protection programs.
● Assess and identify alternative approaches for CI/HUMINT support to force protection and vulnerability assessments.
● Provide guidance and technical support on CI/HUMINT surveillance operations, tactics, tradecraft, and investigations.
● Develop concepts, plans, OPORDs, and FRAGOs to support G2X mission planning and execution.
● Review and analyze directives, policies, and procedures from higher headquarters related to CI/HUMINT operations.
● Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate intelligence capabilities and develop recommendations for improvement.
● Coordinate with Joint, Army, and partner agencies to identify systems, tools, and manpower requirements for operational plans.
● Represent the G2X Plans Section in boards, working groups, and coordination meetings.
● Collaborate with G5 and G39 elements to integrate CI/HUMINT requirements into collection plans and Information Operations.
● Write and publish operational orders, ensuring G2X plans are executable and aligned with command objectives.
● Assess changes to plans and provide recommendations on posture, missions, and
objectives.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or Associate degree in a related field and four (4) years of specialized experience; orMajor certification and six (6) years of specialized experience; or High school diploma and eight (8) years of specialized experience.
● Minimum of five (5) years of experience in intelligence analysis or operations.
● Proven knowledge of intelligence principles, methods, and processes.
● Experience supporting CI/HUMINT operations, mission planning, or analysis.
● Strong communication, analytical, and operational planning skills.
Desired Qualifications
● Experience conducting counterterrorism and counterintelligence analysis in African or European theaters.
● Familiarity with link analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Intelligence Community databases (e.g., CHROME, G-COMS).
● Regional experience in NATO, Russia, the Baltics, Eurasia, the Aegean, or the Balkans.
