We’re seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to support a critical Program/ mission. This role focuses on securing and optimizing command-and-control systems that span government, commercial, and special-purpose networks.
Key Responsibilities
Apply expert-level Information Assurance and cybersecurity principles to mission-critical systems supporting Program operations.
Define and implement security controls, access management, and compliance strategies across LAN/WAN, cloud, and wireless networks.
Design, build, and integrate secure network and infrastructure solutions that meet operational and mission requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams—cybersecurity, network engineering, infrastructure, and applications—to ensure system resilience and availability.
Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with DoD policies and industry standards.
Support long-range technology planning, capacity assessments, and solution design for evolving mission needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical or performance issues affecting network and system integrity.
Required Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Management, or related field. (Additional experience may substitute for education.)
Experience: 10–16 years of relevant hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or information assurance engineering.
Certifications:
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
ITIL v4 Foundation (Will Train on site to get certificate)
