Data Engineer
Candidate must have a TS/SCI security clearance with a CI Polygraph.
Program Description: We are ready to hire a Data Engineer to architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within Palantir Maven Smart Systems, ensuring intelligence data is reliable, secure, and optimized to support AI/ML workflows and the J2’s warning problem management mission.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations to support AI/ML initiatives and intelligence workflows
Build, optimize, and manage data ingestion processes for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured intelligence datasets
Implement ETL/ELT frameworks to support model training, testing, and deployment in classified environments
Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and security compliance within J2’s AI/ML workflows
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provision clean, reliable datasets optimized for machine learning and operational intelligence tasks
Lead technical integration of Palantir Foundry data assets with Maven AI/ML services
Troubleshoot performance issues and implement improvements in data access, storage efficiency, and pipeline scalability
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers, setting best practices for coding, architecture, and pipeline design
