Overview:
· Location: Dahlgren (PRIMARILY REMOTE, but candidate must be local)
· > site visits to conduct testing and deployments; roughly 4x a month
· Job Title: Senior Software Developer (full-stack)
· Customer: DOD/USN
· Contract/Perm: Direct-hire as W2 full-time employee
· Salary: $150,000 - 220,000
· Clearance: Interim/Active Secret (must be willing to update to TS/SCI)
· Shift: core hours M-F
· Onboarding: 1-2 weeks
· Skillset Needed:
o Active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
o IAM level I certification or higher within 6-months of higher
o Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with a focus in Computer Networks, or Computer Science plus eight (8) years of experience
o Five (5) or more years of experience in Agile software development and microservice architectures specifically in the following technology areas:
o .NET/C#
o Angular
o SQL Server or other relational databases
o At least one of the following Object-oriented programming (OOP) languages: C#, Java, or Python
The Role
As a Senior Developer on this program, you will use your expertise and experience in the following areas and activities to deliver solutions and services to our customer:
· Working from requirements specifications to develop or modify software applications
· Designing, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documenting application features and changes
· Reviewing and assessing existing enterprise applications, to support new features, performance improvements, upgrades, and ongoing sustainment
· Participating in performance, load, and stress testing, and remediation of issues identified
· Participating in security architecture reviews of large enterprise systems
· Participating in the development of new systems throughout the entire application lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment
· Participating in activities that ensure the successful use of these systems including developing documentation, test scripts, and training materials
· Working in an agile team environment participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily standups
