Raytheon's Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) is located on White Sands Missile Range, NM is seeking a Test Conductor Operations System Engineer II to join the Test Operations Team. This role will support multiple programs in planning & preparations of range operations, ground tests and various Missile Flight Tests.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborate, schedule, prepare documents, and conduct missile flight test activities at White Sands Missile Range and other National Test Ranges in the United States and abroad.
  • Generates and tracks mission and hot firing procedures, target profiles using range maps and other mapping programs, and coordinate systems.
  • Prepares documentation and reports for use by WSMR personnel and customers.
  • Communicate and interface with contractors and government agencies to set up mission support.
  • Adheres to and enforces security and safety policies.
  • Activities will be performed at various locations, and will include working in remote environments with various live system elements such as radars and missiles.
  • Some travel to remote and domestic locations -CONUS and OCONUS to support program requirements, anticipated travel up to 25%.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Air defense, systems radar and/or operation.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with Patriot mission planning, as well as test plans and test procedures.
  • Experience working within the scheduling and operational constraints at a test range, such as White Sands.
  • Experience with test operations, test plans, and preparing reports for customer briefings.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment, where scope and schedule changes occur.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
