• Experience with Linux server and workstation systems administration on Red Hat based distributions (RHEL9, RHEL8, RHEL7, Rocky8, CentOS7) to include:
o Break/fix troubleshooting

o Network infrastructure services setup and maintenance of DNS, DHCP

• Security+ certification

• Scripting in modern languages python, perl
• Basic network administration of layer 2/3 switches

Job Description
An employer in the Greenville, TX market is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team. Responsibilities include:
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Workstation and Server Linux OS
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Linux environments
• Utilize configuration management tools to ensure systems are patched and compliant
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures in accordance with DoD, U.S. Government, and Foreign Military Sales requirements, including DISA STIGs and adherence to NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 controls
• Continuous oversight of system performance and security
• Provide hardware support for systems within environments and air-gapped lab systems
• Document operational processes, configurations, and system architectures to support management, Security operations, and software teams
• Carry/respond to pager while onsite
• Respond to support requests through Jira issue tracking
• Periodic after hours support for patching and maintenance windows
• On call rotations to support after hours outages
