Marine Electrician

Insight Global is currently hiring numerous Marine Electricians to support a client in Newport News, VA. This candidate will have experience troubleshooting motor controllers, heaters, fan motors, and control circuits, and be knowledgeable in interpreting naval schematics and technical manuals. The hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm EST.

Required Skills & Experience
2-4 years of experience as an electrician in the shipyard space
Experience troubleshooting and testing fan motors, control circuits, motor controllers, and solenoids
Knowledgeable in navy schematics and can interpret technical manuals
Experience in operational testing on Navy electrical systems
Experience using meters and meggers for electrical testing
Active OSHA Maritime 10 certification

Compensation: $18/hr. - $35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
