ASRC Federal AFBI is seeking qualified candidates for our IBS-X Senior Engineer position in support of our Integrated Broadcast Systems Executive Agent Staff customer located at Fort Belvoir VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Support formulation of program goals, plans, policies and procedures, and work plans dealing with the development, operation, and worldwide transmission of tactical and strategic intelligence and targeting data to all echelons of operational users, as well as to the IBS CN, NATO, and emerging partner functions and activities.
  • Support IBS EA Staff in the development of IBS EA strategic concepts and initiatives into actionable policies, plans, programs, and directives that affect the entire IBS worldwide enterprise.
  • Provide operational, technical, and knowledge management support to the IBS EA staff. Employ knowledge and experience of IBS operations and operational, test, and evaluation (OT&E) of ISR in support of USAF, Joint, and Coalition forces.
  • Represent IBS EA at SATCOM, terminal, and other forums as needed to manage broadcast demonstrations and modernization efforts.
  • On occasion, provide equipment and material support services IAW PWS paragraph 6.3. Research, procure and integrate equipment and materials to support IBS EA Staff demonstrations.
  • Provide system engineering expertise to evaluate and ensure upgrades, integration, test, and transformation efforts of IBS Enterprise systems and sub-components are executed, as planned.
  • Coordinate with IBS EA Staff to enable the System Program Office to implement operational activities consistent with EA objectives and intent.
  • Provide support to the IBS EA Staff by attending DoD, military service, IBS Collaborating Nation, and IBS Enterprise forums with principals in planning, executing, presenting, and defending significant studies and analyses affecting the IBS enterprise.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with OUSD (I&S), Joint Staff, CCMDs, and CN, NATO, and emerging partners.
  • Deliver presentations on IBS program status, accomplishments, problems, tasks for support, and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians in other program offices of the Command, USAF, Joint Staff, and associated IBS corporations.
  • Support IBS EA Staff meetings, including but not limited to: Enterprise Message Standards Working Group (MSWG); maintenance steering groups; integrated baseline reviews; execution reviews; and sustainment reviews
  • Execute all contractually binding assigned PWS portions in conjunction with this contract.


Required Skills:
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently or in a team framework.
  • Ability to research and gather information; verify and analyze data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external organizations.


Required Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Clearance and Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree preferred or a total of 12 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in IBS project/or operationally relevant systems and technical support.
  • Experience supporting high level DoD customers and excellent communication skills.
