Wireless Solutions Architect Satellite & Space Connectivity
Are you a pioneering Wireless Solutions Architect ready to transition your expertise to the next generation of global satellite and space communications? Join our elite engineering team to design the wireless architecture that will connect the world from orbit.
Who We Are
We are a visionary technology firm dedicated to pushing the boundaries of wireless connectivity and networking. Our mission is to engineer high-performance, resilient, and ubiquitous communication links for the most challenging environmentsfrom deep space missions to remote Earth-based critical infrastructure. We are building the foundational network for the future of space-based commerce, defense, and exploration.
The Role: Redefining the Final Frontier
We are seeking a Wireless Solutions Architect to lead the development of our next-generation Space and Satellite Communication (SatCom) platform. This is a Hybrid-Remote role located in the Greater Washington D.C. Area. You will leverage your deep understanding of wireless theory, cellular protocols, and network architecture to transform global connectivity.
Your primary challenge will be adapting established cellular standards (4G/5G) to a dynamic, non-terrestrial environment, solving complex, never-before-seen problems related to orbital mechanics, signal propagation, and massive scale.
Key Responsibilities
If you are ready to make your mark on the future of global wireless communications, apply today.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy high-performance wireless solutions for the Space and Satellite Network backbone.
- Translate terrestrial cellular core network architectures and components (e.g., IMS, VoLTE, VoNR, AMF, SMF, UPF) into a robust, scalable SatCom infrastructure.
- Lead the technical design and integration of voice, messaging, and high-speed data services delivered via satellite constellations.
- Solve unique wireless challenges inherent to the space domain, including maximizing link efficiency, minimizing handover delays, and ensuring system resiliency.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define the interfaces and functional split between ground stations and space-based platforms.
- 6+ years of experience in wireless network architecture, systems engineering, or solution design.
- Expertise in Wireless Theory and the architecture of cellular core networks (4G, 5G), including components like IMS, VoLTE, VoNR, AMF, SMF, and UPF.
- Proven experience in taking a design from concept and prototyping through to full-scale deployment.
- A strategic, creative problem-solver capable of adapting existing wireless standards for non-traditional, complex environments.
- U.S. Citizenship is Required. The ability to obtain a security clearance or possession of an active TS/SCI clearance is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions across interdisciplinary teams.
- Competitive Compensation: $160,000 - $230,000 annually, based on experience, plus a comprehensive equity package and 401K match.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Top-tier healthcare, generous PTO, and a culture that prioritizes engineering excellence and breakthrough innovation.
- A Transformative Career: The opportunity to be a foundational architect for an entirely new generation of global connectivity.
