Waypoint's client is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production team. In this role, you will focus on requirements definition, elaboration, and verification supporting Missile Defense Framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) software development, including software containerization initiatives. This position involves direct interaction with Government and Prime Contractor stakeholders, analyzing and integrating systems engineering processes to ensure effective collaboration and technical rigor across MDA's M&S programs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and review Framework, RepBox and CTM requirements and diagrams
- Develop and review Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents
- Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with both internal and external stakeholders to include Prime Contractors and the Missile Defense elements
- Actively participate in Framework, RepBox and CTM Program Increment Planning activities
- Develop and review verification and validation plan for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organization
- Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc
- Play a role in overall functional strategic planning of Framework, RepBox and CTM System Engineering processes within the organization
- MA/MS degree and 12+years of relevant experience or a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of relevant experience
- Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
- Experience in model and simulation development
- Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) concepts and applications
- Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
- Experience in model and simulation requirements development
- Experience in model and simulation verification and validation
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature modeling, environmental models, and missile defense system or threat system simulation and model testing.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and DoD or MDA acquisition and systems engineering processes.
