💼 The Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead and oversee all aspects of our security program for a cleared facility supporting Intelligence Community (IC) contract in Aurora, CO. in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in Aurora, CO. The FSO will lead security operations, ensuring strict compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and all contract-specific requirements.

This position requires direct engagement with government security officials, the Operations Director, corporate leadership, and cleared personnel to maintain a secure environment and enable mission success.

You will play a key role in safeguarding classified information, managing personnel clearances, and ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of government security compliance.

🎯 What You’ll Do
• Manage all aspects of the Facility Security Program in accordance with the NISPOM and DCSA guidelines
• Oversee personnel security clearances (initiation, tracking, and reinvestigations)
• Manage access control, visitor authorizations, and badging in accordance with ICD 705 and contract requirements
• Maintain accreditation documentation for SCIFs and other secure spaces
• Develop, update, and enforce security policies, SOPs, and emergency action plans
• Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual training for staff, clients, and visitors
• Experience conducting security incident inquiries and corrective action plans
• Oversee incident reporting, security violations, and insider threat reporting
• Conduct self-inspections, prepare for government security reviews, and implement corrective actions
• Support access control requests and badging for client workspaces
• Experience documenting processes, preparing for audits, and conducting self-inspections

🧠 What You’ll Bring
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an FSO or related industrial security experience
• In-depth knowledge of government security policies (NISPOM, DoD directives, ICDs, DCIDs)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• FISMA, JPAS/DISS, or Security Management certification a plus
• NGA and/or NRO program security experience (preferred)
• Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (CDSE certification)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active TS/SCI clearance with poly (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or related field preferred
