Current DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance highly desired
Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance
5+ years of sales experience within the federal or Department of Defense IT market
2+ years of proven experience selling directly to clients within SOCOM community
Experience offering a wide range of COTS IT products, services, and secure architectures
Exceptional knowledge of the SOCOM mission, organizational structure, and acquisition processes
Strong understanding and deep domain expertise in the SOCOM mission
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Consultative sales approach and strong presentation ability
High attention to details
Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical
Current PMP certification
Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, media, or related field
DUTIES :
The ideal candidate will be a part of company’s expansion and will help to drive new business development and account growth within the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) community
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to exceed sales quotas by identifying, qualifying, and closing new IT solutions business within SOCOM
Established network of contacts within SOCOM at MacDill AFB and across its component commands
Leverage and build upon existing relationships with key OEM partners to maximize sales opportunities
Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account activity reports to management
Maintain a forward presence at key SOCOM-related industry events and conferences
