Position Overview

This role oversees and supports the full operational lifecycle of multiple airborne SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) sensor systems. The position requires technical expertise in managing interconnected airborne and ground networks, ensuring seamless mission execution, and providing advanced troubleshooting and sustainment for complex intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities
Systems Operations & Oversight

Direct and coordinate concurrent operations across multiple airborne intelligence sensors, data networks, and system interfaces.
Maintain and update resource management procedures governing airborne sensor deployment and coordination.

Provide ground-based operational and sustainment support for airborne SIGINT platforms, associated networks, and system interfaces.
Oversee encryption management activities including implementation and configuration changes.

Technical Support & Engineering

Deliver expert-level diagnostic, analytical, and fault-isolation support for SIGINT systems and associated network pathways.
Resolve complex system and connectivity issues through incident response actions, log analysis, and system restoral measures.

Recommend and assist with upgrades or revisions to software applications, communications nodes, and network infrastructure (e.g., CICS, GCP, CETS, MSCS, RIM, SEAM, SDE).
Provide technical guidance and engineering assistance for networked sensor operations and integration activities.

Operational Readiness (Pre-Mission)
Verify mission readiness of SIGINT and communications systems, including configuration validation and sensor alignment.
Conduct pre-flight and pre-mission checks such as system reboots, ground ring verifications, and data entry for mission templates.

Mission Execution

Deliver real-time technical assistance to pilots, operators, and system maintainers during live missions.
Actively monitor airborne sensor and network performance, executing corrective actions (e.g., process resets, power cycles) to restore operational continuity.
Manage and troubleshoot end-to-end communications between airborne platforms and ground-based components.
Identify, document, and escalate operational anomalies impacting SIGINT systems, networks, or data flows.

Subject Matter Expertise

Serve as a trusted technical authority for SIGINT systems, providing sustainment guidance during system enhancements or modernization initiatives.

Recommend and implement process, network, and system optimizations to strengthen operational efficiency and reliability.
