Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- 5 years of related work experience.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Experience in AV systems field installation.
- Ability to work first shift with occasional compensated, ad hoc support after hours.
- An active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance is required, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher.
- AVIXA CTS certification.
- Experience with DSP platforms such as Biamp or QSC.
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, and Thinklogical systems.
- An adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Survey, plan, develop, design, configure, and test multi-classification AV solutions for government customers.
- Generate custom audiovisual system designs, including DSP layouts and systems configuration.
- Lead or attend customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements.
- Draft system engineering documentation, including signal flows, line diagrams, bills of materials, rack elevations, and cable plants.
- Support onsite installation of AV systems and lead system configuration phases.
- Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required.
- Support the development of end-user training materials and operations & maintenance plans.
- Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
- Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications.
