What You Will Do:
As Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) you will provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions. This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems.
This is a Contract opportunity for 12 months.
Security Clearance– Active TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance
The Ideal candidate will have:
Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools.
Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows. o Experience with high level programming languages (e.g. Python).
Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience.
Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, C++, etc).
Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.
Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods. Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working across contract and location boundaries.
Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly through both oral and written communication.
Pay Rate:- $100 - $110/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
