Job Summary
The Data Scientist supports mission operations by providing analytic technical support, translating requirements, developing models, creating visualizations, communicating insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish analysis and data visualization methodologies, models, and tools to derive intelligence outcomes.
• Design and deliver infographics across media platforms.
• Identify and process raw data, trends, and assessments to generate intelligence support packages.
• Provide tailored communications to stakeholders and support analytic activities.
• Brief customers on assessments and prepare briefings for decision makers.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience in computer science, data science, or data analytics.
• Experience with Python libraries for data cleaning, EDA, statistical analysis, and visualization.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Agile development experience with tools like Jira.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and the intel cycle.
• Experience with the Department of Homeland Security.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
