Title: NUTANIX/Cloud Engineer

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, Master's degree preferred, 4+ years hands-on Nutanix administration and deployment, 3+ years virtualization experience (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), 2 years cloud platform experience
Certifications: Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or similar hyperconverged infrastructure certification, AWS certifications preferred (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator), VMware certifications beneficial for migration work
Position Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure and cloud environments supporting IRS Criminal Investigation's digital forensics platform. Lead migration from legacy vSphere to native Nutanix while ensuring 24/7 availability for critical law enforcement operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Migrate workloads from Nutanix vSphere to Native Nutanix environments
- Deploy and configure Nutanix clusters with networking integration
- Develop and maintain Prism Central dashboards and monitoring tools
- Create automated deployment processes and golden images
- Support Treasury Cloud (TCloud) expansion initiatives
- Maintain backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery capabilities
Required Experience
- 4+ years hands-on Nutanix administration and deployment
- 3+ years virtualization experience (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- 2+ years cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python)
- Background in FISMA High or similar regulated environments
- Previous or current experience with the IRS
