Job Title: Secret DevOps Engineer
Clearance Required: Secret
Pay Range: ~$90K-150K annually
Job Overview
Role: DevOps Engineer supporting classified programs
Responsibilities:
Leverage automation to streamline development pipelines (integrating tools like Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins)
Design and maintain productivity-enhancing tools using programming, scripting, and database technologies
Implement robust build procedures and enforce SCM, code quality, and coverage standards
Operate within agile frameworks for rapid iteration and continuous feedback
Required Skills & Experience
Clearance: Active Secret clearance or higher
Education/Experience:
STEM Degree
2-9+ years of related experience
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage for CI/CD pipelines
Experience with:
Atlassian Tool Suite
Jenkins
Git
Conan
CMake
Strong experience in automation (within and between tools)
Familiarity with C++ and Object-Oriented Programming
Experience with Python/shell scripting
Comfort with Linux Operating Systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with:
Microservices and containerization (Podman preferred)
Static Code Analysis (SonarQube or similar)
Software security
Simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, ClearCase/ClearQuest)
Configuration management software (Git, Conan, CMake, Nexus, etc.)
Modernizing software baselines
