Cloud Engineer -TS/SCI Required

Insight Global is actively hiring multiple TS/SCI Cloud Engineers to join our team supporting a newly awarded DoD program in Reston Virginia. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure solutions in support of multiple DoD Programs. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms with a basic understanding of AWS as well. Candidate should have a strong background in infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices. Candidates will design and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Experience collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application deployment is a huge plus.

Minimum job requirements include:

Must Haves:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience deploying and maintaining Azure environments/resources (degree can be substituted with two additional years of experience)
• Hands-on experience with Azure architecting tools and building architecture diagrams
• Experience with various Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases
• Strong experience with Terraform, ARM, or Bicep for infrastructure as code
• Experience using Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of Azure landing zones and managing authorized instances
• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
• Ability to work in an Agile, team-based environment using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification

Plusses:
• Proficiency in developing and running PowerShell scripts within Azure
• Bash scripting experience
• AWS experience
• Azure Engineering or Architecting Certification
• Experience interfacing with Cloud Security Service Provider (CSSP)
• Experience managing a multi-tenant cloud environment across multiple DOD networks
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes

Insight Global is hiring Mid, Senior and Principal level candidates for these openings, and expect to pay 150K - 200K for the position. Exact pay will be based on candidates overall qualifications, level of expertise and background.
