About the Role
Client is seeking a strategic and technically adept leader to join our Advanced Programs team as the HWIL Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead. This role is pivotal in driving the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced missile and sensor subsystems within real-time, closed-loop simulation environments. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute HWIL strategies aligned with program goals. Foster innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Program Oversight: Manage multiple HWIL development efforts across diverse product lines with varying technical and contractual requirements.
- Technical Execution: Lead the development and sustainment of HWIL capabilities, including sensor modelling and real-time simulation.
- Technology Development: Partner with internal R&D teams to evolve next-generation HWIL capabilities supporting future mission needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively across engineering, program management, and customer teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HWIL or sensor test environments.
- Proven leadership of large, cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of real-time HWIL integration, simulation, and digital modeling.
- Expertise in systems engineering and HWIL verification methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple programs with technical and business objectives.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Hands-on experience in hardware testing within lab environments.
Technical Expertise (4-6 Years Preferred)
- Electrical and software troubleshooting
- Electronic testing and hardware integration
- Systems integration and user acceptance testing
- Software engineering and proposal/report writing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in development program efforts and Cost Account Management (CAM).
- Familiarity with RF and IR subsystem design, integration, and testing.
- Experience integrating digital models into real-time simulations using C++.
- Knowledge of simulating Datalink, GPS, IMUs, and Control Actuation Systems.
- 1-2 years of experience writing technical proposals and reports.
