This position will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing the underlying infrastructure to support Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads.
You will join a diverse team of platform engineers to design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure. You will collaborate with people inside and outside the organization to deliver the highest standards for building, deploying, and securing infrastructure.
Core Competencies – Technical
Cluster Management: Designing, deploying, securing, maintaining, and upgrading highly available, scalable Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, or self-managed).
Containerization & Orchestration: Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes primitives (Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes, Namespaces).
Networking: Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins like Calico or Cilium), service meshes (Istio, Linkerd), network policies, and DNS.
Security: RBAC, Admission Controllers, vulnerability scanning, secret management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), network security.
Performance & Optimization: Diagnosing performance issues, optimizing utilization, cluster tuning.
Troubleshooting: Advanced troubleshooting across the Kubernetes stack.
CI/CD Tooling: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Tekton, Argo Workflows.
Pipeline Design & Implementation: Building automated CI/CD pipelines with GitOps best practices.
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Helm charts, Kustomize.
Automation Scripting: Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
GitOps Methodologies: Argo CD or similar tools.
Monitoring & Alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk.
Logging & Tracing: Centralized logging and distributed tracing.
DevOps & SRE Principles: Strong grasp of DevOps culture and SRE practices.
Version Control: Expert in Git and collaborative workflows.
Testing: Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
Linux/Unix: System administration, networking, file systems, process management.
Networking Concepts: Core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Load Balancing).
