The Opportunity:
As a CACI SOF Information Systems Security Manager you will develop security plans, local policy guidance, regulations and procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure Information Assurance (IA) regulatory requirements are followed. You will provide expertise to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) plans, policies and guidance, and ensure computer systems' security for GRANITE ANVIL systems. Additionally, you will implement IA standard operating procedures, software, and controls to ensure appropriate levels of security and be responsible for information systems protection measures, enforcing IA regulatory requirements, and policies. You will develop, policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data. Furthermore, you will conduct and review threat and vulnerability assessments to analyze the risk to information technology and networks, then determine measures to manage risk. Finally, you will manage DOD issued Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts to prevent unauthorized access or denial of services from external automated attack.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain advanced analytical capabilities to support intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations across the African Theater.
• Monitor and evaluate systems compliance with IT security requirements and provide advice and guidance in implementing IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network systems.
• Ensure all information management systems are operated and maintained according to higher authority regulations and policies.
• Review threat and vulnerability assessments to analyze the risk to information technology and networks and determines appropriate measures to effectively manage those risks.
• Manage the implementation and tracking of DOD issued Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) to prevent unauthorized access or denial of services from external automated attack.
• Verify and validate baseline and IAVA implementation by using theater standard network scanning programs and ensure security violations and incidents are reported to appropriate authorities.
• Identify, analyze, and report incidents involving unauthorized access to information, system failures, or suspected defects which could lead to unauthorized disclosures.
• Report and advice on personnel on actual or potential computer virus threats.
• Prepare Risk Management Framework packages for the comprehensive assessment and documentation of information system security controls. Collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to define system boundaries, selects appropriate security controls based on risk assessments, and implements those controls.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
• Master's Degree and 3+ years and or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in Data Science, Computer, Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Systems Security Manager with a deep understanding and practical experience implementing and managing systems through the Risk management Framework (RMF).
• Proficiency in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Proficiency in Certified Information Security manager (CISM)
• Proficiency in Global Information Assurance Certification (GSLC)
• Proficiency with CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Desired:
• Master's degree in IT Security.
• Familiarity with military intelligence processes and terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Selected candidate for hire will qualify for:
• Moving expenses to relocate household from CONUS to Stuttgart, Germany.
