Darkblade Systems is seeking a SIGINT SME to support our Army customer's SIGINT modernization program. The ideal candidate has recent and relevant experience and is prepared to support the following required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis to identify future Army intelligence Radio Frequency (RF) sensing challenges.
• Directly support Government assigned staff and IC partners on force and material modernization, operational assessment, and evaluation projects to help the customer modernize RF technology and conceptual use across the DOTMLPF-P.
• Attend technical meetings, conferences, design reviews, and/or training regarding technology pursuit, advancements, and equipment designs, at Government direction.
• Identify, interact, and establish short-term relationships with industry vendors who provide viable RF modernization solutions that might improve Army SIGINT.
• Champion the Army demonstration, experimentation, and prototyping process to transition viable SIGINT modernization solutions from identification to permanent program transition.
• Provide direct support to various Army/Joint exercises and evaluate customer execution through measures of effectiveness and success, as needed.
• Provide written assessments and technical reviews regarding the capabilities and operational employment potential and/or development of emerging technologies from a SIGINT modernization perspective, at Government direction.
• Provide Action Officer-level policy analysis and guidance for emerging Army SIGINT systems and Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) policies, strategies, and standards.
• Deliver professional advisory briefings to Army Senior Leaders and key staff in all areas pertaining to SIGINT modernization.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This position operates on a standard 8-hour schedule Monday - Friday.

TRAVEL:

• Approximately 10% CONUS and possible OCONUS travel.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI clearance.

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Meets at least ONE of the following criteria to be considered certified:
• National Crypotologic School, NSA SASMO, Pensacola 450/451/452, or other DoD SIGINT / ELINT / FISINT / PROFORMA; OR
• Commercial sector COMINT / ELINT / FISINT / PROFORMA courses DEA, FBI, CIA, etc.; OR
• A current employee of a company producing a Signals Analysis tool (hardware, software) that teaches industry and DoD customers how to use that tool (DEEPSIG, SCEPTRE, Herrick, SysWare, etc.); OR
• A current technicia working signals analysis and development for a lab (National - i.e., Aberdeen Proving Ground; Commercial - Johns Hopkins Research, etc.).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 15+ years of SIGINT experience focused on collection and analysis within the Intelligence Community.
• Significant experience directly supporting or collaborating with operational, national, and strategic SIGINT IC missions and partners.
• 2+ years of combined experience in program management
• Must understand the concepts of Electrical Engineering required to conduct Digital Signal Processing for military operations.
• Familiarity with National and Army airborne and ground SIGINT systems.
• Understanding of current SIGINT and EW policy.
• Experience in RF spectrum allocation and management process.
• Experience applying RF spectrum allocation, radio wave propagation, antenna recognition, modulation schemes, signals analysis management processes, and untethered analysis.
• Possess excellent written and oral communications/presentation skills.
• Possess excellent time management skills to work independently and deliver results.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in "How the Army Runs", with a focus on previous work in Acquisition or the Pentagon.
• Experience in operating Augmented / Virtual / Mixed Reality solutions.

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for the advertised job, promotion, or transfer opportunity. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The actual salary offered may vary based on various factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, education, geographic location, as well as internal equity, and alignment to market data.

Job Type: Full-time (onsite)

Pay Range: $225,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
