Platform Network Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Platform Network Engineer to join our Networking team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure solutions for our data center environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain complex Layer 2/3 data center architectures, including BGP, VLANs, MLAG, LAG, Spine/Leaf topologies, and Trunk/Access ports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective network solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Document network designs, configurations, and procedures for team knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with industry trends and proactively seek opportunities for skill development.
• Travel up to 20% (domestic and international) for on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience designing, configuring, and managing BGP and Layer 2/3 data center architectures.
• Expertise in VLAN, MLAG, LAG configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Spine/Leaf architecture.
• Strong understanding of Trunk/Access ports and their optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work.
• Willingness to stay up to date with emerging networking technologies.
Clearance Requirements:
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph.
• Current IAM Level II certification (DoD 8570 IAT requirement).
