Sr. Lead Mobility Engineer
The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will provide technical leadership on major Wireless initiatives and establish goals and plans that meet program/project objectives. Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
This position performs systems engineering throughout the entire system life cycle to support data center modernization. Develops understanding of customer's organization, goals, business needs, and enterprise mobile architectures and systems. Establishes system development and integration methodologies and standards such as the ELCM. Develops system architectures that adhere to the Enterprise Mobile Architecture. Develops user requirements and ensures that business solutions are consistent with client strategic goals and investment decisions.
Employs best practice processes in the design, development, integration, and implementation of mobile systems.
Applies business process improvement practices to reengineer business processes, principles, and methodologies.
Implements state-of-the-practice mobile technology in the client environment, using leading-edge approaches, concepts, and ideas. Researches and evaluates mobile system designs to select appropriate technology and ensure efficient use of resources.
The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will be expected to supervise others.
The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer is required to be onsite at a government building in downtown Washington, DC three (3) days per week.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
In order to be considered, one must possess the following:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant discipline or related field
• Have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor
• Possess a base-level certification, such as A+, Security+, or Network+
• Possess a Core certification within their functional area, such as VMware Certified Specialist - Workspace ONE 21.X Advanced Integration
