As a member of the SEIT department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum & Annapolis Junction, MD.

Qualified technicians will have experience with some of the following responsibilities:
• Setup, test, calibrate and commission fully functional systems alongside a team dedicated to execution.
• Review and implement engineering drawings to manufacture complex test systems.
• Coordinate revisions with project design engineers.
• Install complex RF assemblies, including making connections and routing large cable assemblies.
• Working with engineers to troubleshoot hardware failures as needed
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Devising and implementing methods and procedures for evaluating the accuracy of test stand installs based on provided drawings.
• Use of basic hand tools and lifting equipment
• Must have knowledge of electronic principles, the ability to wire and assemble circuits and understand the operation of basic test equipment.

Basic Qualifications for Integration Technician:
• High school graduate or recognized equivalent
• Must possess an Associate’s Degree (minimum 60 semester hours) or two years (minimum 60 semester hours) of college level study with a major in Electronics or a minimum of six months military electronic school plus two years working experience in the maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
• A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic test systems.
• Cabling and rack installation/electronic system integration experience.

Preferred Qualifications for Integration Technician
• Experience with superconducting electronics test platforms.
• Experience with cryogenic test environments.
• Experience with microwave electronics.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
