The Opportunity:
As a CACI Program Operations Specialist, you assist Program Management in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities supporting engineering work at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD). You will initiate new requirement processes, organize, and implement program methodologies, ensure inputs are coordinated from functional and technical personnel. The Operations specialist report directly to the Program Management Office (PMO).

The Opportunity:
As a CACI Program Operations Specialist, you assist Program Management in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities supporting engineering work at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD). You will initiate new requirement processes, organize, and implement program methodologies, ensure inputs are coordinated from functional and technical personnel. The Operations specialist report directly to the Program Management Office (PMO).
Responsibilities:
- Serves as members of the Project Planning Teams and participates in the development of TDPs in response to Government TDLs.
- Prepares and executes program/project meetings and reviews; compiles and delivers meeting minutes and status reports.
- Prepares and submits operational status reports to facilitate program management's situational awareness of MOP/MOE and un-forecasted resource requirements.
- Coordinates with Project Leads, Functional group leads, the Program Monitoring Cell, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of deployable assets to meet operational requirements and ensure visibility of travel issues.
- Uses the T3O methodology to control the contractor deployment process to resolve operational issues in the deployed force and ensure all deployment requirements are accomplished.
- Processes Travel Requests (TARs), Request to Initiate Purchases (RIPs), and Extended Work Week (EWW) requests, and maintains records and produces monthly reports.
- Monitors all CONUS/OCONUS travel to ensure the safe and effective deployment of resources to geographically dispersed and austere high-risk locations.
- Conducts onboarding via in-person or virtual means and supports client in-processing operations.
- Coordinates with the Program Monitoring Cell to provide input on processes and procedures to enhance with automation or other efficiency measures.
- Serves as a backup to the Logistics Coordinator for property requirements such as; equipment issue, receiving, storage, packing, shipping, and turn-in.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience, or associate's degree and seven years of experience, or nine years of relevant work experience. We will also consider candidates with five years of directly relevant experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational or strategic level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real-time knowledge management systems.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and experience and understanding of FAR 52.245-1.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
Desired:
- PMI CAPM or PMP, or related certificates in project operations management a plus.
- Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
- Must be able to work independently with limited oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
