The Opportunity:
CACI are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to provide technical support for USAFRICOM's communications and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient network solutions, ensuring high availability and operational excellence for USAFRICOM.
Responsibilities:
*Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-wide network systems (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
*Provide network support and troubleshooting for USAFRICOM operations and missions.
*Implement and enforce network security policies, including encryption and access control measures.
*Monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimize systems to meet mission requirements.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and installations.
*Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
*Provide Tier-2/3 support and guidance to other technical staff as necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:
*Must be a current US Citizen
*Must meet TESA Requirements:
-Either (Bachelor's degree +3 years of experience, Associate degree + 7 years experience, or 11 years specialized experience)
*Must currently hold Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
*Must have a current CCNP or CCIE
*Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and network security concepts.
*Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
*Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively support operational objectives.
Desired:
*Experience supporting military or international defense network operations.
*Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions and virtualized environments.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
