Senior Systems Engineer
ASRC Federal is seeking qualified Senior Systems Engineer to support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in Peachtree City, GA. This role involves onsite work with some flexibility for telework based on government approval.
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Engineer will support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) by leading the design, development, administration, and support of enterprise content management systems. The engineer will ensure secure, scalable, and compliant platforms that meet the agency's operational and security needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Active SECRET security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet DoD ADP Level II requirements.

Senior Systems Engineer
ASRC Federal is seeking qualified Senior Systems Engineer to support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in Peachtree City, GA. This role involves onsite work with some flexibility for telework based on government approval.
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Engineer will support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) by leading the design, development, administration, and support of enterprise content management systems. The engineer will ensure secure, scalable, and compliant platforms that meet the agency's operational and security needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and administration of enterprise web content systems (CommonSpot, SharePoint).
- Collaborate with internal developers and external stakeholders to maintain and optimize CMS platforms.
- Troubleshoot and support ColdFusion and JavaScript-based web applications.
- Ensure systems are compliant with DoD security requirements and accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508).
- Maintain documentation for configuration, operations, and procedures related to content management systems.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure web environments meet ATO, STIG, and RMF requirements.
- Support updates to content management systems to improve functionality and user experience.
- Assist in gathering requirements for enhancements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term solutions for recurring system issues.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and system documentation for continuity and operational support.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Tier 3 background investigation clearance (NACLC).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in CMS/web platform development and administration.
- Hands-on experience with ColdFusion, SharePoint, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system documentation.
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) or federal government clients.
- Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards and DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with version control, configuration management, and Agile development tools.
