What We're Looking For
As a Technical Writer at CyberPoint, you will support documentation development for DoD electronic equipment and systems, focusing on creating clear, accurate and user-friendly technical documentation that bridges engineering complexity with end-user needs. You'll play a critical role in translating complex technical concepts into accessible documentation for both end users and stakeholders. In this role, you'll work closely with engineers, project managers and other technical teams to ensure that documentation accurately reflects system functionality, meets program standards and supports mission success. This position requires a balance of strong writing skills, technical aptitude and the ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced DoD environment.

What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, training guides and operations materials for DoD systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Configuration Management, Project Management, Deployment/Installations, IT Equipment Space Management and Operations) to gather inputs and update documentation.
- Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures and system specifications to produce accurate, accessible content.
- Test and validate technical concepts within development environments to ensure documentation reflects current functionality.
- Prepare and maintain technical publications in accordance with program standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain proficiency in proper grammatical rules for effective communication in both written and spoken forms.
What You'll Need
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with FS polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools, specifically Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Word.
- Experience with ServiceNow and/or JIRA or similar ticketing/tracking databases.
