We’re seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer with expertise in RF systems and SIGINT solutions to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you’ll design, analyze, and optimize complex hardware systems while also applying hands-on skills to installation, wiring, and troubleshooting. Your work will directly support some of the most critical intelligence operations in the nation.
What You’ll Do
- Translate system and mission requirements into functional hardware designs for servers, networks, storage, user devices, and specialized processors.
- Wire and assemble RF systems based on schematics and engineering diagrams.
- Conduct site surveys and document unique requirements for each location.
- Prepare engineering plans, technical design packages, and installation schedules.
- Configure, integrate, and test hardware across multi-site deployments.
- Use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters) to verify performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic systems and subsystems.
- Develop and maintain installation guides, field test procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Train site personnel on proper hardware use and maintenance.
- Perform operational analysis to identify choke points, failure modes, and maintainability improvements.
- Provide input on throughput analyses, MTBF/MTTR studies, and simulations of proposed systems.
