CACI is seeking a cleared Documentation Specialist to support Distributed Common Ground Systems (DCGS) operations at Langley AFB, VA. You will be an integral part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) responsible for developing, editing, reviewing, and formatting enduring systems and open architecture (OA) sustainment documentation for Air Force DCGS (AF-DMC) Team.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared Documentation Specialist to support Distributed Common Ground Systems (DCGS) operations at Langley AFB, VA. You will be an integral part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) responsible for developing, editing, reviewing, and formatting enduring systems and open architecture (OA) sustainment documentation for Air Force DCGS (AF-DMC) Team.
Responsibilities:
- Track all documents for DGS-X including but not limited to OA and Enduring Systems, security documents, appointment letters, official memorandums for record (MFRs), and renewal dates.
- Plans and manages support for knowledge management tools and processes.
- Work with Leads to develop and prepare inputs to documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Operational Support agreements (OSAs), and technical manuals for the program.
- Validates Knowledge-Based Articles prior to publishing.
- Ensures all knowledge items (management plans, TTPs, SOPs, etc.) are made accessible to the AF DCGS Enterprise as needed in an efficient and effective manner.
- Coordinate/track training & familiarization events.
- Attend various design reviews and meetings and document discussions and decision, review document(s), gather metrics & link related records, and organize and maintain document repositories .
- Develops information retrieval solutions to support client requirements for specified domain subjects using information retrieval software languages, automated text analysis, and extraction techniques.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and four years of a demonstrated knowledge in technical writing and/or business analysis.
- Experience in word processing to prepare complex and detailed documents with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise in preparing and/or maintaining documentation pertaining to systems design and development, systems operation, and user documentation.
- Planning, writing, and maintaining user support documentation efforts.
Desired:
- Manage, maintain & review library of approved documents via ERM, Jira, Confluence, and MS SharePoint.
- Experience with AFI 33-322 Records Management and Information Governance Program & Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS).
- Expertise in translating business specifications into user documentation.
