The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join the OMIS-A program. You will play a critical role in safeguarding a vital Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for the U.S. Army. Located on-site at Fort Detrick, MD, you will be a technical expert responsible for ensuring the system and its supporting networks comply with all DoD and Army security policies. This role goes beyond compliance, requiring you to actively integrate cybersecurity into the DevSecOps and Agile development workflows, conduct hands-on security assessments of new technologies and software releases, and provide expert guidance to government leadership. You will also assist the primary point of contact for the installation and maintenance of all PMO and local contractor site IT infrastructure, making you essential to the day-to-day operations and overall security posture of the program.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Security Assessments and Compliance: Conduct in-depth security assessments of all system releases, prototypes, and hardware configurations to verify compliance with DoD and Army guidelines, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Cybersecurity Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).
- Risk Management and Documentation: Update and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other key engineering documents. Create Security Assessment Reports (SARs) and ensure system changes are documented and in compliance with the RMF package.
- Technical and Policy Expertise: Provide expert technical and policy knowledge to government personnel on all cybersecurity matters. Support systems administration for the OMIS-A networks and manage the installation and maintenance of all office automation technology.
- Collaborative Security Integration: Assist in all phases of the software lifecycle, from design to fielding, by providing cybersecurity expertise. Actively participate in program meetings and assist with the development of secure systems using DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field and 5-7 years experience in Cybersecurity.
- DoD Certifications: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain appropriate baseline and computing environment certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of MS Windows operating systems and applications. Working knowledge of MS SharePoint, MS SQL Server, and Oracle databases is required.
- Methodology Expertise: Proven expertise in DevSecOps and Agile cybersecurity methodologies, with a strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assess and Authorize (A&A) activities.
- Active Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
