Sr. ZScaler Cyber Security Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. ZScaler Cyber Security Analyst to join a trusted partner in government health services, for an onsite role in Rockville, MD. The Sr. Cyber Security Analyst will work with the existing Cyber Security team to provide guidance, installation, implementation, and support of existing and new infrastructure. Responsibilities of the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst:

• Help with technical support in change management processes that directly impact the production environment.
• Work with Program and Program Management throughout the period of performance.
• Provide training to the government, and their successors, on details of the administration, maintenance, support, and operational use of the solution.
• Resolve technical problems that occur and on-call support for non-business hours.
• Provide Weekly and on-demand Status Reports on work performed.

Qualifications of the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst:

• 3+ years of Cyber Security experience and 2+ years of experience in a large enterprise environment
• Foundational networking and DNS skills and working knowledge of SSL inspection, VPN Integration, MFA, and identity providers
• Experience with routing, network forwarding, and traffic inspection, familiarity with log forwarding protocols (Syslog, GRE/IPSec Tunnels) and ServiceNow (SNOW)
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and latency issues across distributed architectures and work with private Service Edges, proxy chaining, and PAC file management
• Associates degree in a related STEM field or equivalent experience
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a MBI/T2 level clearance

Preferred Qualifications of the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst:

• ZScaler or Security+ Certified
• Experience with Visio, Sharepoint, MS Teams Planner, ServiceNow and/or JIRA
• Experience with any HHS agencies or entities

Compensation for Sr. ZScaler Cyber Security Analyst:

• Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 *depending on experience*
