Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager Systems Engineering, Life Cycle Engineering Section Lead - Patriot to join our team supporting the Patriot Missile Program.

The Sr. Manager Systems Engineering, Life Cycle Engineering Section Lead - Patriot will manage a team of Logistics Engineers focused on delivering engineering products and services to our Program offices. As the Sr. Manager Systems Engineering, Life Cycle Engineering Section Lead - Patriot, you will use Program Management Excellence (PMX) tools such as manpower planning, project cost account management using Earned Value Management System (EVMS), cost proposal development and Estimate At Completion (EAC) analysis. This position is an ONSITE position based at our Andover or Tewksbury facilities.

What You Will Do:

• Employee performance development and assessment
• Ensure quality and timeliness of work products produced within the section
• Employee growth, productivity improvement, and recognition
• Personnel issue resolution
• Ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures
• Ensuring all personnel are properly prepared and trained for the tasks they are assigned
• Leveraging best practices across all programs
• Growing capabilities of the section to meet future customer needs
• Approximately 5% travel is required

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically Requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with data collection and/or analysis
• Experience developing and executing engineering contract deliverables
• Experience as a technical and/or functional lead of an engineering team
• Experience in a technical environment managing budgets and using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and/or Basis of Estimate (BOE)

Qualifications We Prefer:

• An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
• Raytheon Level II EVMS or equivalent
• Ability to develop briefings to mid-sized audiences regarding technical plans, status, and results
• Proposal experience - Performed as proposal lead/support for a contract capture through LCE leadership, Business Area approval and/or customer negotiation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Aptitude in creating and implementing metrics-based execution plans
• Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List
• Experience in understanding a generation breakdown
• Spares Analysis and Spares List Development (Poisson Based Statistical Analysis, OPUS Suite, or similar analysis software experience)
• Supply chain familiarity
• Experience working in a project management environment

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
