Radio Frequency Semiconductor Operations has an opening for a Value Stream Lead in Crystal Fab and Wafer Fab Back End Processing Value Stream. Responsibilities include full leadership and management accountability regarding the performance on all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, and cost for the multi-cell/multi-shift operation. The Value Stream Lead will be responsible for setting the standard and driving operational excellence throughout the organization. This position requires an independent, self-motivated leader, that can drive the organization to meet goals and objectives consistently. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the continued migration of wafer fab back-end processing between buildings creating a separation between front end and back-end processing.

This role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, finance and various program management offices. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE, six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

  • Supports deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement.

  • Capital identification and control of overhead expenses
  • Ensuring the full compliance of company policies and procedures


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience.
  • Prior Management or Leadership experience.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating
  • Program and or project management skills
  • Manufacturing or industrial engineering and supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations
  • High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel,).
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or CORE/six sigma project implementation
  • Familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, CMES)
  • Metrics-driven
  • EVMS Certified

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
