Cloud Systems Engineer – Secret Clearance Required

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance or higher to support a federal client in Charleston, SC. This role focuses on integrating cloud and on-prem systems into a secure cybersecurity framework, ensuring proper deployment and functionality of security tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Align cloud and on-prem subscribers with the Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP)
Route application traffic through secure network layers (VDSS)
Deploy and maintain security tools across subscriber environments
Collaborate with subscriber teams to ensure proper tool functionality
Support multi-cloud networking and system administration
Required Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance or higher (TS/SCI preferred)
Experience deploying software in cloud environments using Terraform or Ansible
Strong background in Linux system administration
Familiarity with multi-cloud networking
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to travel up to 25%
Must work onsite in Charleston, SC Tuesday–Thursday
This is a great opportunity for engineers with federal or DoD experience who are passionate about cloud security and infrastructure automation.
Compensation:
$80/hr to $100/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
