Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the JNWC contract. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and Operating Advanced Systems: Manage and operate sophisticated computer systems to process critical business, scientific, and engineering data.
- Ensuring Optimal Performance: Utilize the correct peripheral equipment, conduct diagnostic tests, and address any system errors or malfunctions promptly.
- Maintaining Production Excellence: Keep detailed production records, manage stock items, and distribute output materials efficiently.
- Providing Comprehensive Technical Support: Oversee end-user devices (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices) and peripherals, software applications, network infrastructure, VoIP, audiovisual systems, and various technologies.
- Customer-Centric Desk-Side Support: Schedule and coordinate on-site support for software installations and hardware/software repairs.
- Resolving Connectivity Issues: Investigate and resolve all connectivity problems related to end-users, site infrastructure, and IT equipment.
- Participating in Project Planning: Actively engage in construction project planning, providing detailed IT specifications for facilities.
- Coordinating Break/Fix Installations: Manage on-site coordination with hardware maintenance providers and offer after-hours support when needed.
- Maintaining IT Infrastructure Inventory: Execute and maintain detailed inventories of all IT cabinets and equipment, ensuring up-to-date records and asset information.
- Enhancing Customer Service and IT Processes: Research and recommend new technologies and processes to improve customer service and IT support.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Security Clearance: Current interim Secret clearance with a pathway to SCI.
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.
- Education: BA/BS technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Information Assurance: Experience as an Information Assurance Level Technician in a large government consulting environment.
- Certifications: One of the following IAT Level II Certifications: CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, or EC-Council CND.
