The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly skilled AF DCGS Software License Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing software licenses for the AF DCGS Testing and Operational Enterprises, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing software usage, and supporting mission-critical operations. This role requires a deep understanding of software licensing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include, at a minimum, the tracking of software license statuses throughout the AFDCGS Testing and Operational Enterprises and working with the AFLCMC Program Office Licensing Support Team to continually track software licensing currency. Also work closely with the Deployment Manager and Lifecycle Manager to ensure proper licensing is available for software deployments throughout the AF DCGS Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
1. License Management:
- Coordinate with PMO License Management team on the the acquisition, deployment, and management of software licenses for AF DCGS.
- Ensure all software licenses are current, valid, and in compliance.
- Track license usage and ensure optimal utilization across the AF DCGS Testing and Operational Enterprises.
2. Compliance and Reporting:
- Monitor compliance with software licensing policies and regulations.
- Generate regular reports on license usage, compliance status, and potential risks.
- Conduct audits to verify license compliance and address any discrepancies.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Deployment Manager, Lifecycle Manager, and Integration and Engineering teams to understand licensing needs and requirements.
- Work closely with AFLCMC Licensing Support Team identifying licensing usage and needs throughout the AF DCGS Testing and Operational Enterprises.
- Provide guidance on proper software license usage.
4. Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement efficient processes for license management and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for optimization in software licensing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in software license management.
5. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all software licenses, renewal dates, and usage logs.
- Document procedures and guidelines for software license management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A current US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology Management, with a focus on enterprise-level systems and software licensing.
- Experience with DCGS or similar intelligence systems is highly desirable.
