Cyber Security Specialist - TS/SCI CI Poly

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join a Federal Program working in Fort Belvoir, VA .

Responsibilities of the Cyber Security Specialist include:

· Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.

· Support system administration and engineering teams using advanced networking and OS troubleshooting skills.

· Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and system administrators.

· Train system users and support personnel.

· Update and modify preventive maintenance checklists based on system changes.

· Troubleshoot performance issues and implement corrective actions.

· Document system performance, service requests, and analysis.

· Perform desktop hardware setup, OS imaging, and antivirus updates.

· Conduct and evaluate technical research to assess current and future systems.

· Provide onsite system support post-deployment.

· Interpret engineering drawings, SOPs, and SOWs.

· Maintain test lab equipment and ensure design efficiency in collaboration with engineering teams.

· Demonstrate strong oral and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.

· Research and develop complete systems, analyzing interoperability and constructability.

· Read blueprints, schematics, and SOWs.

· Coordinate with field personnel and engineering teams to resolve installation issues.

· Respond to support calls and assist with onsite installation challenges.

· Research new system manufacturers and technologies.

· Design, modify, and maintain technical security equipment and systems.

· Independently and collaboratively resolve complex technical security issues.

· Interpret directives, rules, and regulations to resolve conflicting security requirements.

· Serve as a subject matter expert and provide recommendations based on independent learning.

· Write detailed reports on mission events, research findings, and technical procedures.

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Specialist include:

· Bachelor's degree plus 5-7+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator/ISSO

· Xacta experience preferred.

· IAT Level II certification required

· Strong system administration experience, including triage, resolution, and workstation implementation.

· Vendor certifications for electronic systems (preferred).

· Reliable onsite attendance during customer-defined work hours.

· Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends.

· Must have an Active U.S. TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance.

Compensation for the Cyber Security Specialist includes:

· Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
