Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on network information security and risk management by coordinating with ARNG G-2 and strategic partners on national-level programming, policy evaluation, and oversight of SCI network services, intelligence policies, and cybersecurity operations.
- Develop and refine security policies and procedures to strengthen the protection of classified networks and intelligence infrastructure.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of cyberspace threats, implementing technological solutions to prevent, reduce, detect, and respond to cyber incidents in real time.
- Assist in the accreditation of classified information systems by developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs) and aligning security operations with DoD and IC cybersecurity policies.
- Oversee the execution of industrial, information, and communication security programs by providing policy guidance and risk management expertise for ARNG G-2 personnel.
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments, developing Risk Findings Reports that outline mitigation strategies and risk acceptance recommendations.
- Evaluate and enhance threat awareness and reporting requirements, supporting intelligence operations with actionable cybersecurity measures.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex security challenges, optimize cyber defense strategies, and refine security compliance frameworks to meet evolving threats and operational requirements.
- Contribute to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions. This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cyber Analyst or similar role with a focus on network information security and risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices for classified networks and intelligence infrastructure.
- Strong skills in conducting in-depth research and analysis of cyberspace threats and implementing technological solutions.
- Experience in developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs) and aligning security operations with DoD and IC cybersecurity policies.
- Proficiency in overseeing industrial, information, and communication security programs, providing policy guidance and risk management expertise.
- Experience conducting comprehensive security assessments and developing Risk Findings Reports.
- Strong understanding of threat awareness and reporting requirements, with the ability to support intelligence operations with actionable cybersecurity measures.
- Excellent collaboration skills with technical teams to resolve complex security challenges and optimize cyber defense strategies.
- Experience participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups to contribute to governance, execution, and continuous improvement of task areas.
Desired:
- Advanced certifications in cybersecurity or related fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
- Experience with ARNG G-2 and strategic partner coordination on national-level programming and policy evaluation.
- Familiarity with DoD and IC cybersecurity policies and compliance requirements.
- Experience with real-time incident response and cybersecurity operations in a high-threat environment.
