Sr VMware Engineer

Our client, a government systems integrator, is in need of a Sr VMware Engineer for an initial 12 month contract onsite in Washington, DC. The Sr VMware Engineer will be supporting a multi-faceted hybrid infrastructure, which consists of VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV on-prem with Azure Gov Cloud. The VMware Engineer will be responsible for providing hands on management and administration of daily operations for the ESXi Infrastructure as well as helping to integrate and migrate workloads to / from the Nutanix platform.

Required Skills:

• vSphere and vCenter planning, configuration, deployment, documentation and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience analyzing and completing server configurations.
• Experience developing automation for vCenter resource provisioning and integrating with a range of third-party products, specifically Nutanix.
• Experience evaluating technical specifications for interoperability.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
