Tygart is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to oversee and coordinate contractor teams supporting a high-impact effort within a DOJ office. The PM is responsible for ensuring the performance of all contract requirements, aligning team operations with the division’s strategic goals, and delivering maximum value through contract deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee project teams; manage conflict and promote collaboration within diverse teams.
Ensure the contract is fully staffed with cleared, qualified personnel capable of meeting all performance requirements.
Establish priorities, develop and maintain detailed work schedules, and track progress toward objectives.
Foster strong relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders through exceptional verbal and written communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and non-IT groups to resolve interdepartmental challenges.
Guide teams in advising leadership on risk analysis and future impacts of decisions to support strategic planning.
Analyze operational and technical issues to support the broader mission and strategic objectives.
Identify and allocate necessary resources; develop and oversee project schedules in alignment with implementation goals.
Maintain security and integrity across all contract deliverables and team operations.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, are error-free, and are delivered on time.
Oversee the effective management of all required support services at designated locations.
Ensure all documentation complies with the Client's record retention policies and is accurately maintained.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project/program management supporting enterprise-level contract efforts, preferably in a federal or government contracting environment.
Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams in a high-visibility, high-security setting.
Strong understanding of contract performance requirements and program governance.
Demonstrated experience in risk management, resource planning, and cross-functional leadership.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience working directly with senior government stakeholders and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs).
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) from an accredited institution in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience supporting federal agencies, particularly within CIO or IT modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with federal information security and compliance standards.
