MID-HUMINT TARGETING OFFICER
Location: Washington, D.C. | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI - CI Poly Preferred
Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Mid-Level HUMINT Targeting Officer to support a government client. In this role, you will conduct detailed analysis, identify targets, and leverage multi-INT resources to support HUMINT collection operations. You will also produce Targeting Packages and utilize intelligence databases such as TAC and Palantir to drive mission success. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $118,000 annually

Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the role's responsibilities, the candidate's education, experience, and skill set, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws or agreements.

Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Mid-Level HUMINT Targeting Officer to support a government client. In this role, you will conduct detailed analysis, identify targets, and leverage multi-INT resources to support HUMINT collection operations. You will also produce Targeting Packages and utilize intelligence databases such as TAC and Palantir to drive mission success. U.S. citizenship is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed all-source HUMINT targeting support against hard target topics, ensuring analytical and targeting efforts are aligned with valid HUMINT requirements.
- Focus analytical efforts to identify, assist, or enhance HUMINT collection operations and operational planning.
- Employ an array of analytical methodologies to identify critical nodes within target networks and their relationships.
- Leverage the multi-INT community to support targeting efforts.
- Research and assess potential targets for HUMINT collection activities using unique HUMINT targeting methodologies.
- Produce Targeting Packages (TP) and utilize client systems and processes to receive field-generated requests and track production status.
- Conduct analysis using key intelligence databases, including Think Analyze Connect (TAC), Terrorist Identify Datamart Environment (TIDE), SIGINT databases, Managed Attribution Systems (MAS), Quantum Leap Intelligence Exchange (QLIXs), KaCHING, Palantir, and other investigative databases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) and six (6) years of directly related experience.
- Certification from one of the following (or Title 50 equivalent): Fundamental HUMINT Targeting Course (FHTC); Advanced HUMINT Targeting Course or Target Network Profiling Course (TNPC); Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC).
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- HUMINT operational background supporting or conducting full-spectrum strategic HUMINT operations (above MSO) preferred.
- Previous experience providing HUMINT support to Task Force (TF) or Special Operations Forces (SOF) desired.
- Experience supporting Strategic Foreign Intelligence Collection against Hard Target (non-CT) issues preferred.
