Specialize experience is defined as experience planning and executing intelligence analysis on foreign state and/or non-state ground forces, systems, and/or operating environments; planning and implementing principles, concepts, and methodologies to develop major program initiatives, drive intelligence collections, and/or apply analytical tradecraft; and delivering analytic findings, in both verbal and written form, to a wide range of audiences.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Additional information
- Maintains regional and functional knowledge on state and non-state ground forces within the division's China area of responsibility.
- Plans, supervises, and executes formal and informal intelligence production and dissemination efforts within the branch, incorporating strategic production guidance and tracking progress on product timelines.
- Applies analytic methods and tradecraft, and works with partners and customers.
- Organizes, motivates, and manages analytic teams in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Identifies and pursues training opportunities, assigning projects and monitoring progress, evaluating behavior and performance, and identifying and resolving conflicts
- Maintains knowledge of the intelligence community and the mission and functions of partner and customer activities to advise on matters related to the intelligence production efforts within assigned areas.
- Represents analytic efforts, and defends analytic positions, to Department of Army, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community members.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent) investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel will be required up to 20% of the time.
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.

- Salary includes applicable Target Local Market Supplement of 17.06%. Subject to change.
