Spathe Systems is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects that involve construction, network infrastructure deployment, AV/VTC system installation, and intrusion detection infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and delivering integrated technology and construction solutions on time and within budget.
- Lead end-to-end project management for construction, IT infrastructure, and AV/VTC installation projects.
- D evelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with architects, general contractors, IT engineers, AV specialists, and client stakeholders, to include design creation and reviews, submittals, and deliverables.
- Oversee site preparation, including construction milestones, cabling, power, and environmental readiness.
- Oversee procurement and logistics for network and AV/VTC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and technical standards, specifically security standards as outlined in ICD 705, ICS 705-1, ICS 705-2.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and risk assessments.
- Create and distribute bi-weekly project status', to include 2 weeks look ahead, upcoming risks, and milestone deliverables.
- Track and report on project KPIs, deliverables, and change orders.
- Ensure successful system testing, commissioning, documented deliverables and client handover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction and/or IT/AV infrastructure.
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of structured cabling, network systems, and AV/VTC technologies (e.g., Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Siemons, Corning).
- Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) .
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in secure or government environments.
- Knowledge of LEED, BICSI, or CTS certifications.
- Familiarity with federal or DoD project requirements.
