Description:
Candidate(s) sought to provide on-site support in technical program management and execution support to PM David Dewhurst under the NASCENT program. The successful candidate should have knowledge and expertise in topics related to technical writing and technical documentation. Candidate should have background in financial intelligence, capital markets, and/or financial payment systems.
Requirements:
Candidate should have knowledge and expertise in topics related to:
• Technical writing and technical documentation
o Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to perform proof reading and quality control on technical documents and presentations
o Strong communication skills - both written (including PowerPoint) and oral; must be able to work with the PM team to concisely summarize and efficiently communicate the essential elements of the PM’s portfolio
• Ability to be flexible and to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight
• Present at DARPA headquarters as required (must be willing to commute to Arlington, VA 3-4 days/week or as required
Desired Capabilities and Characteristics:
• Mission-oriented, energetic self-starter
• Proficiency, patience, and persistence navigating bureaucracy
• A background in financial intelligence, capital markets, and/or financial payment systems
• Knowledge of Department of Defense, intelligence community, and / or Department of Treasury efforts to leverage economic and financial data and analytics for operational purposes, to include promise and limitations of existing efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the PM team with technical action officer-like duties including:
o Developing technical documentation and briefs to communicate program status
o Coordinating activities that drive efficient execution of programs, to include technical support and transition activities
o Developing plans, making recommendations, and facilitating efficient operations across David’s portfolio
• Serving as a subject-matter expert on matters related to financial intelligence.
