Job Summary: C6ISR Advanced Concepts (AC) is seeking a Senior Staff Business Development Lead for Trusted Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Autonomy. This strategic role will drive growth by shaping innovative opportunities, leading campaigns, and forging partnerships that position C6ISR as the leader in responsible, operationally relevant AI and autonomy deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategies to capture AI/autonomy opportunities aligned with C6ISR, enterprise campaigns, and 21st Century Security priorities.
• Partner closely with engineering and program teams to translate disruptive AI/autonomy innovations into solutions that meet operational needs.
• Partner with customers to develop requirements through proactive engagement, workshops, demonstrations, and value proposition development.
• Lead capture efforts from identification through proposal, ensuring win strategies maximize probability of success.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI and Autonomy, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation
• Drive business innovation through use of OTAs, CRAD/IRAD integration, and partnerships with traditional, non-traditional, and academic partners.
• Represent LM as a trusted voice at customer engagements, industry forums, and working groups, influencing national and coalition AI/autonomy strategies.
• Track and report BD performance metrics (pipeline growth, PTW, investment ROI) to ensure measurable results.
• Mentor and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of AI/autonomy technologies, applications, and defense market trends.
• Demonstrated success building senior-level customer relationships and influencing requirements.
• Experience with innovative acquisition pathways (CRADs, OTAs, CSOs).

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
